Keurig K-Suite
The K-suite is specifically designed for use in hotels and vacation rentals. It only has two size options between 6 and 8oz, but this is more than enough to give your guests their morning caffeine hit.
The reservoir needs to be refilled after every use but this is so easy that your guests can probably do it themselves from any available tap.
This feature actually helps to keep the coffee machine more hygienic, as it means there won’t be any large bodies of standing water where bacteria could get a foothold.
An upgraded internal heating element makes this device very fast, and capable of producing a full cup of coffee in under a minute.
Obviously, if you are using this machine to offer complimentary coffee to guests in a hotel or Airbnb you don’t want them leaving it on all day and using lots of power.
That’s why the K-suite is programmed to automatically turn off after each use, which makes it very energy efficient.

Discontinued Models
Over the years, Keurig has made several coffee makers, all of which have been gradually upgraded and improved into the sterling selection of machines we just covered above. This section will cover the coffee makers that are no longer in production.
Some of these units can still be bought online, but it can be difficult to find them in good condition depending on how long ago the range was discontinued.
The B-Series/ K-Series
This was the first generation of brewers made by Keurig and in many ways, it laid the foundation for all of their future models. The B-series includes some classic models that are still championed by coffee fans to this day.
A lot of these machines sported very sleek and stylish designs which made them as beautiful as they were functional.
After the B-series, Keurig decided to rebrand their existing machines under their new K-series. Most of the models in this range are exact replicas of those from the B-series, but with the B in the name replaced with a K to stand for Keurig.
Due to the similarities between these two series, all the B-series models have been paired with their respective K-series cousins to avoid repetition.
DISCONTINUED MODELS
The B31/K10

The B30 range only had one model called the B31 which was Keurigs very first mini brewer.
While it is still bulkier than the K-mini, this model was still very sleek for its time. It had a 10oz reservoir that needed to be refilled before every use, but Keurig included a measuring cup for brewing smaller portions.
This coffee maker was rebranded as the K10 and K15 models when Keurig switched over the K-series. The K15 is still available to buy today and was the first model we covered in this list.

B40/K40

With four different models including the B40, B41, B44, and B45 this series is one of the earliest inspirations for the K-Classic. There isn’t much difference between any of the above machines.
All of them have a 48oz reservoir along with removable drip trays and auto on/off features for saving power. A row of LEDs was positioned on the top for telling you when to add more water or descale the machine.
The B40 and B41 both had two cup sizes between 6 and 8oz, while the later models offered slightly larger portions between 8 and 10oz. Of the four the B40 is the only one still available to buy on Amazon.
All of these models were rebranded to be part of the K-series where the K40 came with a selection pack of K-cups in the box. The K45 also included a water filter kit for making coffee from your own freshly ground beans.

DISCONTINUED MODELS
B50/K50

This series features the first brewers to have LCD messaging centers above the buttons. It contains two models, the B50 and B55, which were functionally identical to the B40 series in look and design, apart from the screen.
Both machines had 48oz reservoirs and two cups sizes that allowed users to choose between a 6 and 8oz serving of coffee.
These were also the first models in Keurig’s line to include the company’s patented ‘silent brewing technology’ which made their machines significantly quieter.
Once again all of these machines were rebranded when Keurig launched the K-series. The K55 came with a water filter kit and was branded at the time as the K-55 classic.
This is appropriate as the B40, B50, and their respective K-series cousins were all discontinued to be replaced with the K-classic model that you can buy today.

B60/K60

The B60, and the K60 machines that came afterward, had three different models that improved upon the B50s with a third size option. These machines offered cup sizes ranging from 6 to 10oz while still retaining the LCD messaging center.
Aside from these minor differences, the B60 machines were practically identical to their predecessors with a 48oz reservoir and removable drip trays. The difference between each model in this range was the accessories that the base B60 machine came with.
The B65 came with a free filter kit, as did its successor the K65, while the B66 had a special silver lid that made the machine look more stylish.
You can still find old B60s and B66s for sale on Amazon but they are often sold at a marked-up price due to limited stock.

DISCONTINUED MODELS
B70 Platinum/ K70

The final range of models in the B-series were the B70 Platinum models. It featured six different machines including the B70, B71, B75, B76, B77, and B79 all of which were functionally identical but included different accessories in the box, except the 79.
Much like the K-elite that they inspired, the B70 series featured 72oz water reservoirs, temperature controls, and a smaller 4oz serving option that could be used for iced drinks.
The B79’s included the additional feature of a ‘Rinse’ and ‘Hot Water’ function which allowed them to be used for specialty beverages like tea.
The K70 range also had six machines and was different from other members of the K-series in that they were actually an upgrade over the original machines rather than just a rebrand.
They added the extra feature of a fifth 12oz serving size for filling larger cups or travel mugs. Apart from this minor modification, the K70 machines were exact replicas of their B70 cousins.

Commercial B-Series And K-Series Models
Keurigs first B-series commercial models came in four different ranges that were differentiated by the environments they were intended to be used in. The B130’s were made for guest rooms in hotels and Airbnb’s while the B140’s were made for heavy use in office environments.
If you wanted a machine geared towards a shop then your best choices were the B150 machines or the super-sized B3000SE.
All of these machines were later rebranded to be part of the K-series. The change was purely limited to the name though and all of the respective machines remained functionally and visually identical to their B-series predecessors.
COMMERCIAL B-SERIES AND K-SERIES MACHINES
B130/K130

These small commercial machines were intended for offering complimentary coffee to guests in hotels and vacation homes. As such it was a compact model with clearly printed instructions on the side that made it very easy to use.
It could brew 8oz cups, from the ‘refill before each use’ reservoir. If you’re lucky you can still find old B130 machines for sale on Amazon.

COMMERCIAL B-SERIES AND K-SERIES MACHINES
B140/K140

As well as the B140 Keurig also made the B145, both of which look very similar to the B40 models but with a few notable differences. They still have a 48oz reservoir, that will need to be refilled very frequently to keep up with the demands of a whole office.
New features include a knob on the top for selecting between the three available sizes, which ranged from 6 to 10oz cups. The B145 OfficePro was basically the same model but with a silver top and a complimentary K-cup selection pack included in the box.

This range contained some of the first brewers made by Keurig for use in shops. It contained three models, the B150, B150P, and B155.
All of these machines featured five size options between 4 and 12oz, LCD touch screens that allowed customers to alter the temperature of their beverage, and 90oz water reservoirs.
The B150P was the only model capable of being hooked up to a direct water line (the P in the name stands for plumbing). Meanwhile, the B155 had a silver lid and generally looks a little more stylish than the 150, even though it was functionally the same machine.

COMMERCIAL B-SERIES AND K-SERIES MACHINES
B3000SE/K3000SE

The B3000SE is the final member of Keurigs discontinued B-series commercial coffee machines, and it is by far the most impressive.
This machine is direct water line compatible which means you don’t need to refill it and can be hooked up to a coin charger for use in shops.
While the B3000SE and its K-series version only offered four serving sizes, from 4 to 10oz, they had the option to alter the temperature and strength of a beverage, unlike the B150s.
This was controlled from an intuitive touchscreen that could be set to use either Spanish or English.
An auto pod eject function was included to save the owner having to constantly reload the machine with new K-cups, and there is a spent pod bucket in the back that can hold up to 40 used K-cups.

The Vue Series
With the Vue Series, Keurig used their pod scanning technology from the K2.0 series to lock out third-party K-cups from being used in their machines. This was intended to offer the benefit of being able to program how your machine brewed specific pods.
Ultimately this line of machines was doomed to fail, as Keurig couldn’t justify the added expense of producing specialized Vue-pods, which contained more grounds for brewing larger 16oz drinks.
If you find a Vue-series machine on sale today, it will be difficult to use due to the need for special K-cups. However, it is possible to purchase a third-party adapter that will allow any Vue model to use regular K-pods or normal coffee grounds.
If you do go this route, then it is recommended to grind your own beans if you want a 16oz cup as using a normal K-cup would make the coffee too dilute.
THE VUE SERIES
V1200/ V1255

These two coffee makers are the same machine with the only difference being the shops they were originally sold in. The V1200 was approved for sale by all authorized Keurig distributors while the V1255 was mainly exclusively available from office supply stores.
Both of these machines were commercial models that were controlled through a full-color touchscreen. Like most of the models in the Vue-series (except the V500), these brewers had 8 serving sizes to choose from which ranged between 4 and 18oz.
The V1255 and V1200 were also compatible with K-cups for specialty beverages such as tea and hot chocolate. Despite being commercial machines, these models didn’t have an option for direct water line plumbing and had to rely on an 80oz water tank instead.

THE VUE SERIES
V500/ V600

Of all the models in the Vue series, the V500 had the smallest maximum brewing size. That said, it was still capable of producing a mighty 16oz cup or a miniature 4oz expresso as well as everything in between.
This model still used a simple black and white touchscreen, but despite the lack of color, it was packed with a range of useful features. The V500 could create specialty beverages thanks to the addition of a milk frother.
As well as K-cups for coffee, this model was also compatible with pods for tea and hot chocolate. There was also the option to make iced beverages or program the machine to brew your coffee at a certain time up to 24hrs in advance.
The V600 was essentially the same machine as the 500 but with one extra serving size for a total of 8. With this model, you could select an 18oz beverage, although to do so required special K-cups that contained more grounds than the standard variety.

THE VUE SERIES
V700

With 8 available serving sizes ranging between 4 and 18oz, this machine was perfect for brewing any kind of hot beverage from expressos to extra large americanos, teas, hot chocolates, and much more.
Unlike the last two units, the V700 featured a full-color touch screen for selecting your beverage of choice. It also came with a larger 74oz reservoir as well as a K-Vue selection pack containing a great assortment of delicious pods.

The Rivo Series
The Rivo series only ever had one model and was another collection discontinued due to it relying on specialized K-cups that were too expensive to produce.
This machine was eventually replaced by the K-latte and K-cafe models both of which we covered earlier since they are still in production.
THE RIVIO SERIES
Keurig Rivo

With the Rivo, Keurig wanted to make a coffee machine that specialized in brewing milky beverages such as cappuccinos and lattes. As such its serving sizes were particularly small, with only two options for 1.4 and 2.8oz expressos.
It also required unique Rivo K-cups that are no longer available to buy. You could choose any specialty coffee using the buttons on the front of the machine which provided a choice between Espresso, Lungo, Cappuccino Froth, Latte Froth, and Cold Froth.
Sadly this model wasn’t able to compete with Nespresso’s machines, which were capable of producing all the same beverages and regular coffee as well. This and the cost of the Rivo pods were both reasons why this model was eventually discontinued.

Keurig 2.0
The 2.0 series was the birth of Keurig’s pod detection technology, which was implemented to stop the use of third-party K-cups.
This feature also made the machines much smarter as they were able to read the chosen pod to adjust the temperature and amount of water used accordingly for the perfect brew.
The machines in this series were capable of using K-carafe and K-mug pods as well as the regular K-cups. These different capsules contained larger amounts of coffee grounds to accommodate the larger portion sizes available from the 2.0 series machines.
The extra cost of producing these unique pods was one of the reasons Keurig eventually abandoned this line.
KEURIG 2.0
K200

Despite being the smallest machines in the 2.0 series, the K200 and K250 were formidable brewers with ten different serving sizes.
From 4oz expressos, all the way up to a 30oz carafe, these two machines could produce as much coffee as you could drink all from a single 40oz reservoir.
You could select your beverage of choice from the black and white LCD touch screen which was very easy to use and navigate.
Both units came with a free water filter kit that could be used alongside the My K-cup 2.0 to brew coffee using your own freshly ground beans. The only difference between the pair was that the K250 also came with a K-cup variety pack and descaling solution.
Neither included a Keurig carafe, which you would have needed to buy separately if you wanted to use K-carafe pods.

Other new features included the option to control water temperature as well as brew strength using the LCD touchscreen. The screen also featured an inbuilt clock, the ability to set your own wallpaper as well as a memory bank for saving your favorite beverages.
Once again the only difference between the K300 and K350 is the accessories that are included in the box. Both provided a complimentary Keurig glass carafe and a variety pack of K-cups while the 350 threw in a water filter kit for brewing your own beans.
